We all know that Mother Nature can be fickle and here in Central Virginia, on the fifth day of Spring, we received three inches of snow (with more to come later today).
As I was taking these pictures, the birds were chirping, having just risen. It was an odd dichotomy between the sparkling energy of Spring and the dark slumber of Winter.
My surroundings were so peaceful and "soft" this morning. The air was crisp and pure, making me feel as if all is right with the world.
What a great way to start the day!
