Once again, I’ve tested another excellent skin care product and this time, it’s the Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask. I purchased several sample packets of this and have used it over the past couple of weeks.
This super hydrating moisturizer claims to be effective for anti aging, eczema, sensitive skin, rosacea, and wrinkles. Pretty big shoes to fill, huh? The directions say to either apply it and then wash it off or leave it on overnight. I always leave it overnight and it works as well or better than any expensive eye cream I’ve used in the past. When I awaken, my skin is soft, smooth and hydrated.
Included in this moisturizer are all kinds of good ingredients: glycerin, macadamia nut oil, borage seed oil, evening primrose oil, olive oil, apricot kernel oil, vitamin E, vitamin C and others. Here’s the complete list:Water, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate (emollient), Butylene Glycol (slip agent), Glycerin (skin-repairing ingredient), Sorbitan Stearate (emulsifier), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (skin-repairing ingredient), Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate (emollient thickeners), Dicaprylyl Ether (emollient), Ethyl Macadamiate (macadamia nut oil/emollient), Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane (silicone/water-binding agents), Glyceryl Behenate/Eicosadioate (emollients/thickeners), Borago Officinalis (Borage) Seed Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil (all non-fragrant antioxidant plant oils), Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols (antioxidant fatty acid), Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol (vitamin E/antioxidant), Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Ascorbyl Palmitate (stabilized vitamin C/antioxidants), Linoleic Acid, Phospholipids (cell-communicating ingredients), Sodium Hyaluronate (skin-repairing ingredient), Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A/fatty acid-based antioxidant), Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine (skin-repairing ingredient), Cetearyl Glucoside (emollient), Sclerotium Gum (thickener), Hectorite (mineral-based suspending agent), Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol (preservatives).
This moisturizer feels really great on the skin! If need something to really soothe my skin if it’s itchy, flaky or dry, this has become one of my “go to” products. It’s also very economically priced a $19 for a four ounce tube. You can purchase it by clicking on here.
Have you tried Paula’s Hydrating Treatment Mask? If not and you’ve got dry skin, give it a try!
