My Current Favorite Beauty Products

It’s been quite awhile since I did a post about my favorites. Over the past few months, I’ve been testing loads of products so I thought I’d do a quick posts about what I’ve been regularly using this summer. Do any of my favorites match yours? Read on to find out!
Awapuhi Shampoo and conditioner
Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo & Conditioner—I first started using these when I did my first keratin treatment as I needed to switch to sulfate-free products.  The shampoo’s lather is rich and the conditioner luxurious. And better yet, the wild ginger fragrance is exotic and wonderful. Usually, I have the huge pump bottles in my shower but I recently purchased the smaller size and will purchase this duo again and again.
Trish McEvoy High Volume Mascara
Trish McEvoy High Volume Mascara—I love this mascara so much and just re-ordered from Nordstrom. It lengthens, produces huge volume and best of all, it DOES NOT SMUDGE!!! Expensive at about $30 per tube but in my opinion, it’s soooo worth it!

Mac Face & Body N1 N2
Mac Face & Body Foundation—Mac Face & Body has been my “go to” foundation all summer. Why, you ask? Well, it’s because this foundation is perfect for aging skin because it absolutely refuses to emphasize facial pores and wrinkles, unlike many foundations out there. The formula also allows for varying levels of coverage, looking great with just a sheer layer or with several layers built up to medium coverage. It has kept my skin looking dewy and youthful which is how I like it! :)

nars powder
Nars Light Reflecting Powder—Ever since this powder first became available, I’ve been a fan. Either the loose or pressed version (or both) gets used every day to set my concealer or is used for touch ups. It looks GREAT in pictures! You NEED this!

Biotene toothpaste
Biotene Toothpaste—OK, so maybe you don’t consider toothpaste to be a beauty product but how can one have a beautiful small without a great toothpaste? I suffer from “dry mouth” and am also a freak about dental care. After using this toothpaste for over six months, I had my regular dental check up a few days ago and the hygienist told me that my gums and tartar level looked better than she’s ever seen. Apparently, dry mouth can cause all kinds of tartar and gum problems. Even though I brush twice a day and floss like a fiend, I still would have an annoying tartar build up and sensitive gums. No more! Biotene has done its job well!
Cerave
CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser—This soothing, gentle cleanser is the perfect thing to remove the last bit of makeup from my face in the evening. A simple, hydrating lotion, it doesn’t conflict with my other skincare products or strip the moisture from my skin. What could be better than that? Well, the price for one thing!! Available at your local drugstore for under $12 for a 12 ounce bottle.

Allure
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Daily Sunblock—There’s no way my favorites list would be complete without a facial sunblock! My favorite this summer has been Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Liquid. The texture of this sunscreen is liquidy and thin, making it ideal under makeup. It “dries” to a kind of matte finish and doesn’t leave a mess of white all over the face. It’s easy to wear and non irritating. Highly recommended!
Are any of these products your favorites as well? What products do you love?
