How to: The Principles of Contouring: Part 2
In Part 1 of my contouring "how to" here, I showed how light and dark (highlighting and contouring) can create the illusion of bone structure and can allow one to "correct" areas of the face that one wants to change. This post will cover products that can be used to contour.

Face of the Day: A Simple, Chic look
I'm a big fan of Lisa Eldridge, a famous celebrity makeup artist from the UK. Not too long ago, she did a You Tube tutorial on a makeup look she called "Flawless and Chic," available here.
It's a look that can be worn during the day or for an evening out and I've worn it many times. Click below to get the details and the products I used.

Product Review: Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream
Beautiful Finish for Slightly Dry to Oily Skin
I originally became acquainted with Smashbox's Camera Ready BB Cream through a Sephora sample. Having tried several Asian and Western BB creams, I was a little bit skeptical of yet another tinted moisturizer masquerading as a BB cream. Fortunately, I continued on with this product as I am happy I did!
Smashbox describes its BB cream as "a five in one formula for achieving flawless skin on camera and beyond." The five functions are as to prime for a layer of foundation; to perfect or even out skin tone using one of the five available shades; to hydrate and improve skin moisture in four weeks; to protect with a sun protection rating of 35; and controlling oil.
